Corals are flying high once again
Some of our most frequent customers had noticed a gap in our operation due to restructuring and re-certification of our export license. While it is quite complicated and very time consuming to gain permission to export life coral from Indonesia, it is a vital step in ensuring that endangered species are protected from uncontrolled exploitation and harm. To be allowed to farm coral in the ocean an aquaculture business like the Bali Coral Farm has to document each and every specimen from start to finish so that a complete chain of custody can be established and supplied. Due to an internal company restructuring process we had to undergo a full re-certification process to have the proper licenses to continue operations. We just now received the new monthly shipping quota and are happy to report that we have actual coral export capacities that not yet had been met with orders. So if you are one of our old wholesale customers, or a new aquaculture distribution partner, please send us your orders for a quick turnaround. Note that unfortunately shipping prices are up on pretty much all routes due to the increased fuel and cargo cost. Please inquire about a new proforma invoice so we can adjust an allocate for those cost appropriately. We try to compensate for these additional cost as much as we can and have currently extreme competitive pricing for orders fulfilled within the next 3 weeks. We expect a backlog of orders to come in so reserve your time window in the processing facility now to make sure we can fulfill the order in a timely manner. We are happy to know that once again our beautiful coral is flying high on the way to far flung destinations around the globe.
